Elizabeth Murray is the Director of Compliance and a Managing Partner at Boston Investor Services (BIS). BIS has served as Polaris’ back-office and middle-office service provider since 1995. In 2004, BIS added compliance to their mandate for Polaris, performing ongoing risk assessment, daily compliance operations/testing and process placement to comply with applicable laws and U.S. and international regulatory filing requirements. With a deep understanding of Polaris’ operations and compliance program, BIS continues to perform these critical functions, while final oversight and decision-making authority related to compliance issues will reside with Chief Compliance Officer Roberto Ramirez.
BIS background: BIS was established in 1993, providing mid- and back-office support for global and domestic investment advisers. Over the last 30 years, the team has administered to over $65 billion in global assets, supporting ten different investment management firms, including Polaris.
