Roberto E. Ramirez, CPA, joined Polaris on January 1, 2018 as a full-time employee and Chief Financial Officer. He became an LLC member in January 2023. In the CFO role, Mr. Ramirez has responsibilities for the accounting, finance and select operational functions of the firm. Since February 2015, he has been providing corporate accounting and finance services to Polaris on a part-time CFO consulting basis.
Mr. Ramirez has over 20 years of experience, including a proven background in accounting, finance, treasury, and capital markets. Prior to establishing his consulting practice, Mr. Ramirez worked as the CFO and CCO at BV Investment Partners. From 2009-2013, he served as the CFO and Treasurer at Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, a quasi-public entity focused on investing in clean tech. Other work experience included finance roles at TA Associates and Grove Street Advisors, and as a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Ramirez is a graduate of the University of Texas where he earned a degree in business administration/accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
