Roberto E. Ramirez

Roberto E. Ramirez, CPA, joined Polaris as their fractional Chief Financial Officer in February of 2015 and became Polaris’ full-time Chief Financial Officer on January 2018. He became an LLC member in January 2023.  Additionally, he assumed the position of Chief Compliance Officer in March 2025.  In this combined role, Mr. Ramirez has responsibilities for the firm’s accounting and finance functions, while overseeing a comprehensive compliance program that addresses regulatory requirements, risk management and industry best practices.  

Mr. Ramirez has 30 years of industry experience, including a proven background in accounting, audit, finance, treasury and capital markets. Throughout his career he has worked in finance and compliance roles at select investment management firms and financial industry businesses.  Mr. Ramirez began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a manager in its investment management practice. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas with a degree in business administration/accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
